Air India Plane Crash: Union Home Minister Amit Shah has said that the tragic crash of an Air India plane in Ahmedabad left no chance for survival due to the extreme fire caused by 1.25 lakh litres of fuel onboard. The aircraft, heading to London with 242 passengers and crew, crashed shortly after takeoff on Thursday afternoon, causing a massive fire in a residential area.

Shah addressed the media, saying, “There was 1.25 lakh litre of fuel inside the plane and it caught heat, so it was impossible to save anyone.” He added that the temperature due to the burning fuel was so high that rescue was not possible.
The entire country is mourning the loss, and Shah expressed his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims. “India is deeply shocked by this accident. My prayers are with the relatives of those who lost their lives,” he said.
He also confirmed that the official number of casualties will be released after DNA tests are completed. “The process of collecting DNA samples is done. The Forensic Science Laboratory and the National Forensic Sciences University in Gujarat will handle the testing,” he said.
In the midst of the tragedy, there is a glimmer of hope. “The good news is that one person survived the crash, and I have met him,” said Shah.
One of the victims was a nurse from Kerala who had dreamed of a safer life for her children. Stories like hers have deeply touched the hearts of people across the nation.
As the investigation continues and authorities work to identify the victims, the nation stands united in grief and support for the affected families.
