Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, all ministers gathered for a crucial cabinet meeting in Prayagraj during the ongoing Mahakumbh. During the session, significant decisions were taken for the state’s development, including the formation of two new development regions—merging Varanasi-Vindhya region and Prayagraj-Chitrakoot, inspired by the State Capital Region (SCR) model.
The cabinet approved 10 major development projects aimed at boosting various sectors across Uttar Pradesh. These initiatives are expected to pave the way for sustainable growth and infrastructure improvement in the state.
Following the meeting, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, along with 54 ministers, visited the Sangam. Together, they performed rituals, taking a dip in the holy river amid chanting. Then, they went ahead to offer prayers in front of the sun and took a boat ride on the Sangam. During the visit, CM Yogi personally fed grains to the birds, which simply signifies peace and prosperity. And this was concluded by having all ministers sit together on the ground, taking a common meal, strengthening the spirit of unification.
