Meerut, Uttar Pradesh: Tragedy seems to have knocked on the gates of the Meerut city in the wake of the discovery of five murders taking place within one family’s premises in Sohail Garden area of Lisari Gate. These victims are known to be the father, Moin, mother Asma, and their three little daughters were found dead on what police has described as “extremely gory” conditions.
The horrific incident came to light when neighbors, noticing an unusual silence from the household, alerted the police. Upon entering the residence, authorities found the lifeless bodies of Moin and Asma on the floor. Shockingly, the bodies of the three daughters were discovered hidden inside a bed box, a grim detail that has left investigators and the local community shaken.
The police and forensic teams were rushed to the scene immediately after the crime was reported. The house has been cordoned off to preserve evidence, and investigators are meticulously examining the site for clues. Preliminary findings suggest that the murderers attempted to hide the children’s bodies in a deliberate act to mislead investigators or delay their discovery.
“The brutality of the crime is unimaginable,” a police official said. “We are working round the clock to gather evidence and learn the motive behind such an act.”
The neighbors described Moin as a mason by profession and the family as being very quiet and reserved. It left the entire neighborhood highly stunned and shocked, something that many would hardly describe as murder.
Residents of Sohail Garden cannot get over the tragedy. Once a peaceful neighborhood, it has now been marred by fear and grief. Local leaders and community members have expressed their condolences and called for swift action from the authorities.
“This is not just a crime against a family; it is a crime against humanity,” said a local resident. “We hope the police can bring the perpetrators to justice quickly.” The police have urged anyone with information related to the case to come forward, emphasizing the importance of community cooperation in solving such heinous crimes.
This has also once again raised issues related to the safety of people living in the residential areas of Meerut. Authorities have vowed to increase their patrol and beef up security for people’s assurance.
In this process of investigation, it becomes a painful reminder for the family of the fragile nature of life and importance of vigilance to ensure the safety of community members.
