
Former Bollywood actress Mamta Kulkarni has taken a major life decision. She has chosen to take the spiritual path at the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj. After leaving her household life, Kulkarni has decided to become a saint. In a surprising twist of fate, she will be coronated as a Mahamaṇḍaleshwar during the grand religious event.
Wearing saffron attire, she arrived at Kinnar Akhada at Maha Kumbh. For this day, Kulkarni, a resident of Mumbai, donned the outfit in saffron and stepped into the world of spirituality. She appeared at the Kinnar Akhada’s camp in Sector 16 of the Kumbh Mela as thousands thronged to view this historic day.
The Kinnar Akhada announced that after completing the Pind Daan ritual at the Sangam, Mamta Kulkarni will be formally inducted as Mahamaṇḍaleshwar. Her Pattabhishek or coronation ceremony will be held at 6 PM at the Kinnar Akhada. And with this sannyas, she will be called Shri Yamini Mamta Nand Giri.
This transition from a highly acclaimed film career to a spiritual journey is the most dramatic and inspiring change in the life of Mamta Kulkarni, who has always been in the public eye.
