Water Crisis in Chandigarh Housing Board Sector 63 – The residents of Chandigarh Housing Board Sector 63 are facing a severe water crisis, with not even a drop available for basic needs. For the past several days, people have been struggling without drinking water, and water tanks in almost every household are completely empty.
Locals say the situation is becoming unbearable as there is no water for drinking, cooking, or even for using the bathroom. Repeated calls to Chandigarh Municipal Corporation Chandigarh officials have gone unanswered, adding to the frustration of residents.
“One resident said, ‘I have been calling the helpline number 0172-2540200 since morning, but the call isn’t getting through. When I contacted the J.E., the response was far from helpful. This is the limit now — we’re being forced to book hotel rooms just so we can use the bathroom.'”
Despite multiple complaints, no concrete steps have been taken so far to resolve the issue. The residents now urge the authorities to act immediately before the situation turns into a health emergency.
