Triund is visited throughout the year but May, June, September, and October mark as the best

post-monsoon season from October to December is best for the clearest view of mountains.
The first spell of the snow crystal can be experienced in December.

  • Road: You may take a bus from Delhi to Mcleodganj or Dharamshala also you may travel by car.
  • Rail: For a budget-friendly drive you may take a rail to the closest station. Pathankot is the closest station to Dharamshala, from Pathankot you may take a cab or public transportation which is easily available outside the station to Dharamshala.
  • Flight: Alternatively you may take a flight from Delhi or any other place you are traveling from and fly to the nearest airport of Dharamshala which is the Kangra airport which is around 15 km from Dharamshala and then take a cab from there.
