Punjab Influencer Kamal Kaur Bhabhi Murder: In a chilling twist to the murder of popular social media influencer Kanchan Kumari, better known online as Kamal Kaur Bhabhi, police have confirmed that the alleged mastermind Amritpal Singh Mehron fled the country within hours of committing the crime. According to Bathinda SSP Amneet Kondal, Amritpal took a flight from Amritsar airport to the UAE shortly after orchestrating the brutal killing.

Authorities had already issued a lookout circular against Amritpal on Saturday, anticipating his escape attempt. However, it was only after examining his passport and travel records that investigators confirmed his successful departure. The Punjab Police have now initiated the deportation process and formally notified UAE authorities of Amritpal’s status as a wanted murder suspect.
Investigations reveal that the murder was not an impulsive act but a carefully premeditated crime. Amritpal allegedly began plotting the killing three months ago, conducting multiple reconnaissance visits in Ludhiana — the city where the victim resided. Accompanied by two associates, he even checked into a hotel near her residence to survey her daily movements and plan the attack meticulously.
The case took a gruesome turn when Kanchan’s decomposed body was discovered in the back seat of a car parked outside Adesh University near Bhucho Kalan on the Bathinda-Chandigarh highway. The shocking discovery late Friday night sent ripples across the region, especially within the influencer community.
Further details have emerged from the interrogation of Amritpal’s two close aides — Nimaratjeet Singh and Jaspreet Singh — who are currently in police custody. Their questioning has helped piece together the timeline of the murder and escape, confirming that two other individuals, including Ranjit Singh from Sohal village in Tarn Taran district, were involved in aiding Amritpal’s flight from justice. An unidentified person is also named in the FIR, making the total number of accused five so far. All face charges not only for murder but also for destruction of evidence.
As the Punjab Police intensify efforts to track down the remaining suspects and bring Amritpal back from the UAE, this high-profile murder case continues to grip the public’s attention. The cold-blooded planning, swift escape, and international angle have turned it into one of the most shocking crimes the state has witnessed in recent times.
