During the sojourn in Paris, PM Modi will also meet President Macron to review the progress made under the India-France Horizon Roadmap 2047, long-term roadmap for India-France strategic cooperation. The idea of this road map is to deepen bilateral ties in these two nations, promoting mutual growth especially in defense, trade, and technology.
Apart from the official engagements in Paris, PM Modi and President Macron will also go to the old city of France, Marseille. There, he and President Macron will be hosting the inauguration ceremony of India’s first-ever Consulate General at France, and this will symbolize an achievement in the journey of strengthening relations between the two countries. His visit will include a tour around the ITER project: International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor, one of the projects that represents an international collaboration among scientists.
