
Taking a big stride towards empowering the youth, PM Internship Scheme has reserved 2,308 seats for Bihar students who have passed their 10th, 12th, or graduation. The scheme is designed to offer industry exposure to young people so that they enhance their employability. The shortlisted applicants shall be paid a stipend of Rs 5,000 each month, but in the first month, they will get an enhanced amount of Rs 6,000. The PM Internship portal is now accepting applications.
PM Internship Scheme Benefits & Opportunities
As per the State Bureau, Patna, the internship scheme provides a 12-month placement in leading private firms, exposing chosen candidates to practical industry experience. Although the initial allotment is 2,308 seats, additional slots can be added based on demand. The advantages of the scheme are:

- Rs 5,000 (Rs 6,000 in the first month) monthly stipend

The central government has envisaged an ambitious goal of availing one crore youths with internships throughout the nation under this scheme. Bihar too has been assigned priority, and one-third of the total seats allotted have gone to students belonging to the state capital and surrounding areas in Patna district.
Eligibility Criteria & Application Process
Applicants for the PM Internship Scheme must fulfill the following criteria:
- Age: 21 to 24 years
- Educational Qualification: Should have passed 10th, 12th, or graduation
- Income Limit: Family’s income should not be more than Rs 8 lakh
- Exclusions: Candidates possessing professional degrees like B.Tech, MBA, CA, etc., are not eligible to apply.
How to Apply?
Eligible and interested candidates can apply online through the official website: pminternship.mca.gov.in. The Registrar of Companies, Patna has been appointed as the nodal agency to oversee the scheme and manage its implementation in Bihar.

- Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana
Bihar Gram Kachahari Secretary Recruitment
In another development, Bihar has published the merit list of 1,583 candidates shortlisted for the Gram Kachahari Secretary posts. Candidates who have objections to the merit list may file them online on the Panchayati Raj Department’s grievance portal within March 5.

- Candidates need to file a notarized affidavit along with objections
- The last list of selections will be released after hearing all the grievances
- Shortlisted candidates will be given counseling sessions
