Angadveer Murder Case: A chilling murder investigation in Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut district has exposed what police describe as a carefully planned conspiracy involving a mother and her alleged lover, ending in the brutal death of a seven-year-old boy who investigators believe became an obstacle to their future plans.

The case has shocked residents across the region, not only because of the young age of the victim but also because of the disturbing allegations surrounding the motive behind the crime. Police say the victim, identified as Angadveer, was allegedly murdered after he discovered his mother’s relationship with another man while his father was working abroad.

According to investigators, Angadveer lived with his mother, Gurpreet Kaur, while his father, Gursevak, worked in Saudi Arabia. During his absence, Gurpreet allegedly developed a relationship with Arpit Parashar. Police claim that tensions grew when Gurpreet wanted to separate from her husband and pursue a new life, but Gursevak reportedly refused to grant a divorce.

Investigators believe the situation took a darker turn after the child allegedly witnessed Gurpreet and Arpit together one night. Police suspect Gurpreet feared that her son could reveal details of the relationship to his father or other family members. According to the investigation, she allegedly became concerned that such revelations could affect future divorce proceedings and any financial settlement she hoped to secure.

As the investigation unfolded, officers concluded that the child had become an unintended witness to a secret relationship. Police allege that Gurpreet and Arpit then discussed eliminating what they viewed as a threat to their plans.

Authorities claim that on the day of the crime, Gurpreet persuaded Angadveer to accompany Arpit by telling him that “uncle would buy him chocolates.” Trusting the familiar face, the seven-year-old reportedly left with Arpit without hesitation.

Police allege that Arpit drove the child away from the residential area and took him to a secluded location near a forested stretch. Investigators say he then murdered the boy by slitting his throat before abandoning the body in nearby bushes. The alleged killing remained hidden for a short period, but digital evidence would soon play a crucial role in exposing the crime.

According to police sources, investigators reviewing surveillance footage discovered a vehicle matching Arpit’s car carrying the child shortly before he disappeared. The CCTV footage quickly became a key breakthrough in the case and helped narrow the focus of the investigation.

The probe gained further momentum when officers examined electronic communications between the accused. Police claim that after the murder, Arpit sent a message to Gurpreet stating that the task had been completed and that her son had been killed. Investigators say these messages became significant pieces of evidence during questioning.

However, the situation reportedly changed when Gurpreet learned that police had obtained surveillance footage. Authorities allege that she then sent messages attempting to distance herself from the crime. According to investigators, she warned Arpit that he could be caught and urged him not to mention her name if questioned.

Police subsequently detained Arpit for interrogation. During questioning, investigators claim he revealed details about the alleged conspiracy and his role in the murder. Based on his statements and the supporting evidence collected during the investigation, officers arrested both Arpit and Gurpreet.

The case has sparked widespread outrage in Meerut and beyond. Residents expressed disbelief that a child could allegedly become the victim of a plot involving members of his own family.
