
In a heartbreaking update from Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian Army lost one of its brave soldiers, Subedar Kuldeep Chand, during a counter-infiltration operation along the Line of Control (LoC). The operation took place on the night of April 11 in the Keri-Battal area of Sunderbani, Rajouri district. In a separate military operation in Kishtwar, three Pakistani terrorists were killed over the past 48 hours.
Sub Kuldeep Chand: A Braveheart Who Laid Down His Life for the Nation
Subedar Kuldeep Chand, serving in the 9 PUNJAB Regiment, displayed exemplary courage while leading the operation against infiltrating terrorists. According to the Indian Army’s White Knight Corps, his team successfully foiled the infiltration attempt. However, in the process, the brave soldier made the supreme sacrifice.

The Army also expressed deep condolences to the bereaved family, stating that the nation stands in solidarity with them during this difficult time.
Operation Chhatru: Three Terrorists Eliminated in Kishtwar
Meanwhile, in the ongoing Operation Chhatru in the Chatroo area of Kishtwar district, the Indian Army neutralized three Pakistani terrorists. The operation, which began on April 9, continued despite harsh and inclement weather conditions in the region.
Initially, one terrorist was gunned down on April 10. On Saturday, two more were eliminated, bringing the total count to three.
“Op Chhatru Update: Despite bad weather, two more Pakistani terrorists have been eliminated. A large cache of war-like stores, including an AK rifle and an M4 rifle, has been recovered,” stated the official White Knight Corps handle on X.
