Kejriwal's Car Crushes BJP Workers: Kejriwal and Parvesh Verma Trade Allegations of Violence

Car Crushes BJP Workers: In a high-voltage political tussle, the Aam Aadmi Party and Bharatiya Janata Party hurled charges of violence at each other amid clashes in the New Delhi constituency as Arvind Kejriwal was campaigning. The controversy broke out after AAP accused BJP supporters of pelting stones at Kejriwal’s convoy, which BJP’s Parvesh Verma promptly countered with an accusation that Kejriwal’s car had injured a BJP worker.

According to AAP’s version, the incident occurred when Arvind Kejriwal was campaigning near Lal Bahadur Sadan. AAP uploaded a video on social media of stone-pelting on Kejriwal’s convoy and in the post, they wrote, “Fearing defeat, BJP panicked and got its goons to attack Arvind Kejriwal. BJP candidate Pravesh Verma’s goons attacked Arvind Kejriwal with bricks and stones while he was campaigning and tried to hurt him so that he could not continue his campaign. BJP people, Kejriwal ji is not going to be scared of your cowardly attack. The people of Delhi will give you a befitting reply.”

Contrarily, BJP candidate Parvesh Verma has also rejected the accusations by stating that Arvind Kejriwal’s car hit three young BJP supporters, named Vishal, Abhishek, and Rohit, resulting in injuries. He said, “Arvind Kejriwal’s car drove ahead, crushing a BJP worker. The worker’s leg was broken, and I am going to Lady Hardinge Medical College to inquire about his health.”. This is very shameful.” He further added, “When AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal was campaigning door-to-door near Lal Bahadur Sadan, people of the New Delhi Assembly constituency were asking questions to AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal about employment, etc.

When three residents tried to ask questions to AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Police beat them up, and a worker’s phone was broken. The car of AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal hit the three youths, and the driver of the car applied the brakes after seeing the three youths, but Arvind Kejriwal signaled the driver to crush them…

The incident has created a furore on both sides, with AAP responding by accusing the BJP of orchestrating a “planned attack” to harm Kejriwal. AAP’s official statement claimed, “BJP has tried to kill the son (Arvind Kejriwal) of Delhi with its goons. BJP is so upset after seeing its defeat that it has decided to take the life of Kejriwal ji. Does BJP want to take revenge for working for the people of Delhi by killing Kejriwal ji?

” This will be the second confrontation between Chief Minister and AAP Convenor Arvind Kejriwal and BJP’s former MP Parvesh Verma, when the former goes to polls on February 5 in the Delhi Assembly elections. The results will be declared on February 8, and with the political climate in Delhi as tense as ever, this may well be the most closely fought battle so far.
