A dramatic and emotionally charged scene unfolded in Kanpur on Tuesday when a woman climbed a mobile tower inside the police office compound and refused to come down until her jailed husband was brought before her. The incident quickly created panic among police officials and attracted a large crowd outside the complex.
Eyewitnesses said the woman suddenly climbed the tower located inside the police office premises and began shouting from the top. She repeatedly warned that she would only climb down if the police brought her husband to the spot. Her protest left officials worried, as there were fears she might take a dangerous step while standing at such a height.
