
New Delhi, April 23: In the wake of the tragic terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam on April 22, the Centre has decided to convene an all-party meeting on Thursday to discuss the current security situation and formulate a united political response.
Sources within the government confirmed that the decision was made shortly after the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) held an urgent high-level meeting to evaluate the immediate and long-term implications of the attack.
Top officials revealed that Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh have already initiated direct communication with leaders from various political parties to ensure full participation in the meeting.
“An all-party meeting will be convened tomorrow regarding the situation related to the terror attack,” said a top government source.
