In several cases, the girls were reportedly taken to hotels or private locations where the accused recorded explicit videos without their knowledge. The matter reportedly came to light after a dispute between the accused and another individual exposed the existence of these videos. This triggered complaints and eventually led to a police investigation. Authorities have registered serious charges in the case under multiple laws, including provisions of the POCSO Act, which deals with sexual offences against minors, as well as sections related to the circulation of obscene content and cybercrime. The case has also sparked a political debate after reports surfaced claiming that the accused had previously been associated with the political party led by Asaduddin Owaisi, the All India Majlis‑e‑Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM). However, party representatives clarified that the accused was not an official member and had no formal role within the organization.
Meanwhile, local authorities reportedly demolished an unauthorized portion of the accused’s house as part of administrative action related to illegal construction. The move attracted widespread attention and further intensified public discussion around the case.
