First and foremost, these claims are entirely false. The page that posted this is a meme account known for sharing humorous content.

After competing in the 4×400 meter mixed relay at the Paris Games, German sprinter Jean Paul Bredau questioned the decision to select Alica Schmidt, 25, over his girlfriend, Luna Bulmahn.

Bredau later apologized for his comments, but Bulmahn voiced her frustration on social media and was subsequently removed from the team before the women’s relay.

When asked about Bulmahn’s departure, Schmidt said, “The decision was not made by us, but by the board and the coaches. It was likely the best choice for the team. We trust the coaches.”

Schmidt, dubbed the “world’s sexiest athlete,” was asked if she had spoken with Bulmahn since the controversy. She responded, “I don’t want to say anything more about the topic now. It’s about the sporting performance.”
