Bad Newz Reviews:

Despite receiving mixed reviews from the audience, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh described the film as a ‘fun-tastic’ and well-crafted entertainer that promises and delivers continuous entertainment.

On X, he wrote, “Director #AnandTiwari opts for a plot that might seem absurd, but the sharp and engaging screenwriting keeps you hooked throughout. #Anand also ensures that the comedic moments and jokes hit their mark, the narrative stays on track, and the conclusion is fitting.” He continued, “#VickyKaushal delivers a stellar performance, excelling in emotional scenes and portraying his character with finesse. #BadNewz is likely to significantly boost his fan base. #TriptiiDimri shines as well, looking fantastic and skillfully balancing both light and emotional scenes, adding a crucial touch of glamour to the film.

“#AmmyVirk is charming, with exceptional comedic timing that stands out. Overall, he brings authenticity to his role. However, #NehaDhupia and #SheebaChaddha are underutilized and could have elevated the film further had they been given more prominent roles.”
