The event, attended by several political personalities and public figures from different regions, has once again pushed Hooda into the spotlight, reviving discussions about his past business ventures and ongoing legal narratives.

According to claims circulating in media reports and public discourse, Vijendra Hooda first came into prominence through a media venture reportedly started around 2015. However, the project did not sustain momentum and gradually faded from the competitive media landscape. In 2023, Special Task Force operations reportedly uncovered irregularities related to degree distribution and financial transactions at the institution. However, as per available public claims, he was later released on bail after spending time in judicial custody, with the case still moving through legal channels.

Despite the ongoing controversies, Hooda has now re-emerged in the public domain with the launch of Nation-27, a news channel positioned as a political and social commentary platform. The inauguration event reportedly drew participation from several political figures, creating a sharp contrast between his legal controversies and continued public presence.
