Yamunanagar, Haryana — A love triangle in Haryana has ended in a shocking murder, leaving the local community stunned. Authorities have arrested Sneha, a married woman, after her current lover, Rajiv, was brutally killed in a meticulously planned attack involving her former lover.
The grim discovery came after Rajiv’s body was found near a railway track close to a cremation ground. Investigators identified him through tattoos on his body, including one with Sneha’s name inscribed on his chest.
Married Woman’s Secret Affairs Sparked Deadly Plot
Sneha, married and embroiled in a domestic dispute with her husband, was reportedly involved in relationships with two men simultaneously: her former lover Amit and her current partner Rajiv. Tensions escalated when all three ended up in the same room one day.
Sources reveal that a heated argument broke out between Amit and Rajiv. Sneha reportedly instructed Amit to leave and chose to stay with Rajiv, sparking deep resentment in Amit. Over time, cracks appeared in Sneha’s relationship with Rajiv as well.
“She felt threatened that Rajiv possessed private photos of her and was allegedly attempting to blackmail her,” a police officer stated. Troubled by this, Sneha confided in Amit, setting the stage for a deadly plan.
The Murder: A Planned and Chilling Attack
On February 27, Sneha lured Rajiv under the pretense of a casual outing. Unaware of the danger, Rajiv arrived at the location where Amit was already waiting. A fierce argument ensued before Amit sent Sneha away with an accomplice. Rajiv, meanwhile, was taken to a secluded area near the railway tracks.

According to police reports, Amit first administered intoxicants to Rajiv, rendering him vulnerable. He then strangled Rajiv with a rope. To ensure death, a strong adhesive was applied to Rajiv’s mouth along with a cloth stuffed inside, cutting off his air supply completely.
Investigation and Arrest
Authorities confirmed that the tattoos on Rajiv’s body played a pivotal role in identifying the victim. Sneha was subsequently arrested in connection with the murder. Police are continuing to investigate whether additional accomplices were involved and the extent of premeditation.
“This was a meticulously planned murder born out of jealousy and revenge,” said a senior investigating officer. “We are treating this as a first-degree murder case with multiple angles to explore.”
