4 year old child dies after getting stuck in lift gate of Muktaba Apartment in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, March 13, 2025: In a heartbreaking incident, a four-year-old child died after getting stuck in the lift gate at Muktaba Apartment in Hyderabad. Asif Nagar police said the incident took place around 10 pm on Wednesday.

The child named Narendra, who was the son of a watchman, was playing around the lift of the building when the incident took place. It is being told that when the child was standing inside the lift gate, someone pressed the lift button and the lift started moving, due to which the child got stuck in it.

Although efforts were made to rescue him immediately, Narendra suffered multiple injuries. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but he was declared dead on arrival.

The authorities have registered a case and ordered an inquiry into the cause of the accident and its exact circumstances. The officials will also investigate whether there was any lapse in the safety of the apartment’s lift system. The investigation is ongoing and detailed information is awaited.
