PM Modi, in a rally at Dahod, Gujarat, warned terrorists targeting Indian women, saying their end is near. He hailed Operation Sindoor and slammed Pakistan for its hate-driven agenda, while emphasizing India’s focus on development and self-reliance.

In a powerful and emotionally charged address in Gujarat’s Dahod on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent a strong warning to those who seek to threaten the dignity and safety of Indian women. Referring to the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, where 26 innocent men were brutally gunned down by terrorists on April 22, PM Modi said that “those daring to wipe off the sindoor of our sisters must know their end is near,” highlighting the spirit and strength behind India’s counter-response through Operation Sindoor.
Operation Sindoor, launched in the early hours of May 7, was India’s forceful retaliation that inflicted heavy damage on terror infrastructure located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir. PM Modi made it clear that such acts of terror will not go unanswered, and India stands firm in defending its people, particularly its women, whose symbols of dignity and cultural identity—like sindoor—are deeply revered.
Taking a sharp dig at Pakistan, the Prime Minister accused the neighbouring country of being driven by hatred for India since its creation. “The country that came into existence after Partition lives on hatred for India. It only wants to harm Bharat,” he remarked. In contrast, he emphasized that India’s vision is rooted in peace, progress, and prosperity. “Our nation has goals—not of destruction, but of removing poverty and achieving economic development,” he asserted.
PM Modi’s speech wasn’t limited to the security front. He also highlighted the government’s development initiatives, particularly in regions that have historically been left behind. His rally in Dahod marked the inauguration of multiple development projects worth ₹24,000 crore, including a modern locomotive manufacturing plant. The Prime Minister flagged off two new train services—the Ahmedabad-Veraval Vande Bharat and the Valsad-Dahod Express—bringing modern rail connectivity to more regions and improving everyday travel for thousands.
He proudly shared that the new-generation Vande Bharat trains are now running on 70 routes across India, reflecting the government’s commitment to enhancing public infrastructure. In his speech, PM Modi also made an earnest appeal to citizens to choose indigenous products during festive occasions such as Holi, Diwali, and Ganesh Puja. “Everything we need for our country’s progress must be made right here in India,” he urged, reinforcing the ‘Vocal for Local’ message.
As the sun set on Dahod, the rally echoed with chants of support, a reflection of the deep emotional connect the Prime Minister had established with the crowd—not just through his developmental promises, but with a powerful message that no harm to the nation’s daughters and sisters will be tolerated.
