Mathura Sucide News: A shocking incident has shaken Mathura district after a couple and their three young children were found dead inside their home in Khapparpur village. Police suspect the case to be a mass suicide, following the recovery of a suicide note, a wall message, and a video recording from the house.
The tragic discovery has left the entire village in deep shock and mourning.

Bodies Found Inside Locked Room
According to the police, the deceased have been identified as Manish Kumar (35), a farmer, his wife aged around 32, and their three minor children, including two daughters and a son. All five bodies were found inside a single room of their residence.
Mathura Senior Superintendent of Police Shlok Kumar said the family appeared to have been inside the room for several hours before they were discovered.
Brother Alerts Police After Children Fail to Appear
The incident came to light after Manish Kumar’s brother grew concerned when the children did not come outside to play in the morning, which was unusual.
Unable to get any response from inside the house, he reportedly jumped over the boundary wall, broke open the door, and found the entire family lying dead. Other villagers soon gathered at the spot, and the police were informed immediately.
Suicide Note, Wall Message, and Video Recovered
During the initial investigation, police recovered:
- A suicide note
- A message written on the wall
- A video allegedly recorded by Manish Kumar
While officials have confirmed the existence of these materials, they stated that details about their contents have not been made public yet, as the investigation is ongoing.
Authorities are examining whether financial stress, personal issues, or other pressures may have led to the tragic decision.
Post-Mortem Ordered, Investigation Ongoing
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death. Police teams are also questioning relatives and locals to piece together the family’s recent circumstances.
“Everything is being investigated from all possible angles. At this stage, it appears to be a case of mass suicide, but we are waiting for forensic and post-mortem reports,” a senior police officer said.
Village in Shock, Mental Health Concerns Raised
The incident has once again brought attention to mental health challenges and the silent struggles faced by families in rural areas. Neighbours described the family as quiet and reserved, with no visible signs of distress in recent days. Local authorities have urged people facing emotional or psychological stress to seek help rather than suffer in silence.
