Hrithik Roshan leases his luxury Juhu-Versova apartment to girlfriend Saba Azad at ₹75,000/month, far below market rates. Learn about the Roshan family’s real estate deals and investments in Mumbai.
Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan is in the news once again, but this time not for a film or a dance-off. The actor has rented out one of his plush apartments in Juhu-Versova to his girlfriend Saba Azad for a very nominal rent of ₹75,000 per month. Given the premium nature of this property, the deal has caught the attention of Mumbai’s real estate lovers.

A personal gesture in the heart of Mumbai
According to Zapkey, Hrithik, who owns three full floors in Mannat Apartments (currently), officially signed the lease with Saba Azad on August 4, 2025. The leased property offers Saba an address in one of the city’s most prestigious residential complexes, yet the rent is well below market rates.
To illustrate, a sixth-floor apartment in the same building was leased out in 2023 at a whopping ₹10 lakh per month. This clear difference shows that the agreement is more about personal relationships than business gains.
The lease agreement includes a security deposit of ₹1.25 lakh, making it an affordable and luxurious living option for Saba.
Hrithik’s real estate portfolio
Hrithik Roshan is no stranger to high-value real estate. In 2020, he bought the 18th to 20th floors of Mannat Apartments on the Juhu-Versova Link Road, totalling 12,000 sq ft, for ₹97.5 crore. His investments reflect both luxurious living and strategic property choices in Mumbai’s elite localities.
Recent sales
The Roshan family has also been active in property sales. In May 2025, Hrithik and his father, filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, sold three apartments in Andheri, Mumbai for a combined total of ₹6.75 crore.
- A 1,025 sq ft flat at VJ’s Niwas CHS in Andheri West sold for ₹3.75 crore.
- A 625 sq ft apartment at Raheja Classic sold for ₹2.20 crore.
- Hrithik also sold a 240 sq ft flat in the same building at Raheja Classic for ₹80 lakh.
These deals reflect the family’s strategic approach to real estate, in which they strike a balance between a luxurious lifestyle and profitable investments.
Recent purchases
In terms of acquisitions, HRX Digitech, co-owned by Hrithik and Rakesh Roshan, bought three office units in Boomerang Building, Chandivali, Mumbai for ₹31 crore in July 2025. These units are spread across 13,546 sq ft, with a stamp duty of ₹1.86 crore and a registration fee of ₹30,000.
Earlier, in September 2024, the duo had bought five office units on the fifth floor of the same building for ₹37.75 crore, reflecting their growing business expansion.
A lease that makes headlines
Hrithik Roshan’s decision to lease a premium Mumbai apartment to Saba Azad at a price just below market value underlines the personal aspect of this arrangement. Although real estate prices in Juhu-Versova are sky-high, the deal is a rare example of celebrity generosity and personal engagement.
With interest in Hrithik Roshan on Google India peaking between August 26 and 27, 2025, the move has put the superstar in the spotlight once again – this time in the world of luxury real estate.
