In a heartwarming moment aboard an Indigo flight, Avantika– a digital creator who is soon to marry her boyfriend of many years, Divyamm received the most beautiful surprise from her fiancé that has turned viral. A heart-warming video captured by her sister, Srishti, shows that just two days prior to getting married, Avantika woke up after a well-needed nap on account of not feeling too great. What followed, however was in no one’s expectation-it was an air hostess declaration of the in-flight crew which would soon end in making this young lady their wife.
The announcement came over the intercom, but it was personal and directly targeted at Avantika: “A special message from your soon-to-be husband, Divyamm, on his way to making you Mrs. Batra. Avantika, I am so excited about the life we’re about to start together, and I can’t wait to call you my wife. Wishing you both love and happiness for the upcoming adventure from IndiGo.” The text overlay on the video read, “Received the best surprise from my soon-to-be husband on our way to our wedding.”
Feeling overwhelmed, Avantika, who was visibly stunned and touched, responded in the post saying, “The best surprise and the best start to the wedding. Yes, I looked super embarrassed because I wasn’t expecting it at all, and I was sick, tired, and sleepy but still, it brought out a smile on my face. Can’t wait to marry you.
More than 12.5 million views so far have garnered the video since it was just posted a day ago on the Instagram account of thecisterco. Social media is flooded with many comments filled with admiration and more thoughts about Avantika herself. Many simply wanted Avantika to recover at the earliest speed, while another found the shock absolutely adorable calling it “too cute.” It was a scene where one mentioned, “Little surprises are all that a woman wants,” followed by another statement, “Stahpppp. This is too cute.
But it wasn’t that moment of jubilation for all passengers. Some humorously or otherwise voiced their disagreements, with one saying, “I don’t give a shit if you are getting married, divorced, or whatever. I want my peace in the aircraft.”
In any case, the feeling behind the gesture by Divyamm, who thought before acting, has warmed hearts throughout the internet as a reminder that small surprises are powerful.
