Candidates who clear the prelims move on to the mains examination, a detailed written test that evaluates knowledge, analytical ability, and writing skills. The final stage is the personality test or interview, where candidates are assessed on their leadership qualities, decision-making ability, and overall suitability for public service.
In its official statement, the commission also noted that the candidature of 348 recommended candidates has been kept provisional. Their final appointment will depend on verification of documents and fulfillment of eligibility conditions.
