Ludhiana Royal Limo’s Showroom Firing: Gunmen Leave Gangster Slips After Daylight Attack

Ludhiana Royal Limo’s Showroom Firing: Punjab witnessed a shocking act of violence on Saturday morning when unidentified gunmen opened fire at a luxury car showroom in Ludhiana’s Mullanpur area, creating panic among staff and customers. The incident took place around 10:30 am at the Royal Limo showroom, which deals in high-end vehicles including Mercedes-Benz and Range Rover models. The showroom is located on the Ludhiana–Ferozepur highway, directly opposite the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) camp.

According to police, two suspects arrived at the showroom on a motorcycle and fired seven to eight rounds before fleeing the scene. Several bullets hit the windshields of luxury cars parked on the premises, while others struck the glass entrance of the showroom, causing visible damage. Employees and customers rushed to safety as the gunfire echoed through the area. Despite the intensity of the attack, no injuries were reported.

After the shooters escaped, police recovered two slips of paper from the site bearing the names of alleged gangsters Pawan Shaukeen and Mohabbat Randhawa. Empty bullet shells were also found and taken into custody as evidence. Investigators believe the slips were deliberately left behind to send a message and create fear.

Senior police officials, including DSP Varinder Singh Khosa, reached the spot and began an investigation. Preliminary findings suggest the firing may be linked to an extortion attempt, a tactic often used by organized crime groups to intimidate business owners. However, the showroom owner has denied receiving any extortion calls or threats so far.

“We are examining all angles. The presence of gangster names indicates a possible attempt to spread fear or demand money, but we are verifying everything,” DSP Khosa said.

The Royal Limo showroom is known for dealing in premium vehicles, and its location in a sensitive, high-security zone has raised concerns about public safety. Police teams are now scanning CCTV footage from the showroom and surrounding areas to identify the attackers and trace their escape route.

The incident has once again highlighted the growing concern over gang-related violence and extortion in Punjab, especially against businesses dealing in expensive assets. Traders and residents in the area have expressed anxiety over the boldness of the attack, which occurred in broad daylight on a busy highway.
