Family Denies Allegations, Calls It an Extortion Plot
Kajal Kumari’s family quickly responded with an emotional public statement, labeling the viral clip as fake and part of a planned extortion attempt. According to them, unidentified individuals demanded ₹30 lakh to take down the video from online platforms.
The family also released screenshots of threatening messages as evidence. “Someone is trying to ruin my child’s career and reputation. We request people not to forward such misleading content,” her mother said in a statement.
In a tearful YouTube video, Kajal herself addressed her fans, saying, “Please don’t believe these lies. The video is edited. Someone wants to destroy my image. I trust the truth will win.”
Experts Confirm Video Is AI-Generated
Several digital forensic teams have since analyzed the clip and confirmed that it was AI-generated using deepfake technology. They found inconsistencies in the subject’s facial alignment and background rendering, proving that the person in the video was not Kajal Kumari.
Bhojpuri fan pages and media professionals also condemned the fake video, urging followers to report and not share such harmful content.
This is not the first time Bhojpuri stars have faced such digital defamation. Earlier, actresses Akshara Singh and Trisha Kar Madhu were also targeted through morphed videos, causing them emotional trauma and public embarrassment.
