Darbhanga, Bihar – August 30, 2025: A small hotel owner in Darbhanga has been left distressed after his motorcycle was allegedly taken away by members of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s security team during the ongoing “Voter Adhikar Yatra.”
According to the victim’s family, on August 27, the security personnel accompanying Rahul Gandhi approached the hotel operator and asked for his Pulsar bike, assuring him that it would be returned “immediately.” However, three days have passed, and the motorcycle has not been returned.
“They said it was urgent and would only take a few minutes. But it’s been three days. We keep calling, but nobody is picking up the phone now,” the distraught family told reporters.
The incident has sparked outrage among locals, who question whether the rights of common citizens can be ignored in the name of political security. The family claims that despite repeated requests, no official has come forward to address their grievance.
