Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’ Turns Into a ‘Bike Chor Yatra’ – Security Personnel Accused of Stealing Motorcycle

Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’ Turns Into a ‘Bike Chor Yatra’ – Security Personnel Accused of Stealing Motorcycle

According to the victim’s family, on August 27, the security personnel accompanying Rahul Gandhi approached the hotel operator and asked for his Pulsar bike, assuring him that it would be returned “immediately.” However, three days have passed, and the motorcycle has not been returned.

“They said it was urgent and would only take a few minutes. But it’s been three days. We keep calling, but nobody is picking up the phone now,” the distraught family told reporters.

The incident has sparked outrage among locals, who question whether the rights of common citizens can be ignored in the name of political security. The family claims that despite repeated requests, no official has come forward to address their grievance.

A Question of Rights

This unusual episode has raised serious questions:

  • Can a leader’s security team forcibly take away private property without consent?
  • Should ordinary citizens suffer losses in the name of political privilege?

Political analysts note that such incidents, if ignored, can create distrust between the public and those claiming to fight for people’s rights.

Appeal to Congress

The victim’s family has appealed directly to the Congress party, urging them to take responsibility and ensure the motorcycle is returned.

“This may look like a small issue to some, but for us, that bike is our daily lifeline. We only want justice,” the hotel operator said.

As of now, the Congress party and Rahul Gandhi’s office have not issued an official statement regarding the matter.

For the family in Darbhanga, the incident is not about politics but about fairness and dignity. They hope the party that champions the slogan of “Nyay” (justice) will stand by its word and help them recover their only means of livelihood.
