
Srishti Gupta officially assumed her role as the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Panchkula today at the DCP Office in Sector 1. The 2021 batch IPS officer stepped into the position as IPS Himadree Kaushik proceeded on long leave. Known for her dynamic and committed approach, Gupta brings with her prior experience as the Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) in Yamunanagar.
Upon her arrival, she received a warm welcome from DCP (Crime and Traffic) Amit Dahiya, along with all ACPs and other senior officers. Shortly after taking charge, she conducted a comprehensive review of the district’s security arrangements.
Addressing the media and her team, DCP Srishti Gupta emphasized a zero-tolerance policy towards crime, especially offenses targeting women, children, and the elderly. She assured that under her leadership, the Panchkula police would act swiftly and sensitively on all complaints.
Gupta’s appointment has been seen as a positive step towards strengthening law enforcement in the city. Her commitment to proactive policing and community safety is expected to shape a more secure environment for Panchkula residents.
