Belagavi, Karnataka – A horrific incident has come to light from Kakati in Belagavi district, where a 15-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped, and the heinous act was filmed by her assailants to facilitate ongoing blackmail. The brave teenager finally approached the authorities on Saturday, lodging a formal police complaint after enduring months of repeated assaults and threats. According to police statements, the initial incident occurred approximately six months ago. The victim was reportedly lured to a secluded hilly area by her boyfriend, where she was then subjected to a brutal gang-rape, with the entire ordeal chillingly recorded by the accused.
The video footage was subsequently used to terrorize and coerce the girl, leading to further instances of sexual assault. The courage shown by the young victim in coming forward has been commended as the investigation intensifies.
