Scott Boland (3/51) and Mitchell Starc (2/60) gave excellent support by breaking India’s resistance well before lunch. From an overnight score of 128/5, India’s innings lasted only 36.5 overs, and India folded for 175.

Travis Head Shines with the Bat

Australia’s Chase

Chasing a modest 19-run target, Usman Khawaja and Nathan McSweeney sealed the deal with ease. McSweeney hit two boundaries while Khawaja sealed the deal with a stylish four, guaranteeing a comprehensive win for Australia.

The series now levels at 1-1, with the stage all set for a decider in the third Test. India will have to regain its composure and also patch up its batting weaknesses while Australia would look to take forward this momentum.
