RJD supremo and proud grandfather Lalu Prasad Yadav took to social media to share the happy news with his followers. In a warm and emotional post, he revealed that he and his wife Rabri Devi have named their grandson “Iraj.” The full name chosen by the parents is “Iraj Lalu Yadav,” he added.

“So our granddaughter Katyayani’s little brother is named ‘Iraj’ by me and Rabri Devi,” Lalu Prasad wrote in his post. “Tejashwi and Rajshree have given him the full name ‘Iraj Lalu Yadav’.”

He also shared the significance behind the baby’s name. While their daughter Katyayani was born on Katyayani Ashtami during the Navratri festival, Iraj was born on a Tuesday—considered a sacred day associated with Lord Hanuman, also known as Bajrang Bali. This spiritual connection played a role in the selection of his name.

The joyous occasion drew warm wishes from political leaders and well-wishers across the country. Among those who visited the hospital to bless the newborn was West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who met Tejashwi Yadav and expressed her happiness for the family.

This moment adds another layer of personal joy to the life of Tejashwi Yadav, who serves as the Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Assembly. With the arrival of Iraj, the Yadav household is once again filled with the laughter and love that only a new life can bring.

As celebrations continue, the family has expressed gratitude for the outpouring of blessings and well-wishes from people across the nation.
