Shocking Incident at Rana Public School Nigohi: Class 11 Student Leads Attack on School Bus

Nigohi, Uttar Pradesh: A shocking incident from the Nigohi area has come to light where a Class 11 student, irritated with his PTI teacher Vishal’s reprimand, set out gathering youths to pelt stones at a school bus full of students and their teachers. The gang, armed with sticks and rods, surrounded the bus. And then that video went viral on social media.

Rana Public School bus was returning from the celebrations for Republic Day on Sunday when the attack occurred. In fact, most of the youths involved wore scarves and mufflers that obscured their faces, making it difficult to identify them. Besides surrounding the bus, they even entered it forcibly, thereby panicking the students. During the chaos, three teachers reportedly fainted due to fear and stress.

The situation involves an earlier dispute between the student and a teacher. A month ago, this student was severely reprimanded for misbehaving and eventually taken to the principal, where he was warned. These actions created bad blood between the student and his teacher, ultimately leading to the attack on Sunday.

In the video, the youths had sticks, thereby intimidating the passengers with the school children present. The local authority hasn’t taken any action yet, even after 24 hours since the incident took place. The police claim to have no information on the incident.

Inspector Vijay Pratap stated, “We have not yet received a formal complaint regarding the incident.” Similarly, Circle Officer (CO) Sadar Priyank Jain claimed, “We are not aware of this matter.”

The viral video has outraged the locals, demanding immediate action and accountability. Parents and community members have raised questions regarding the safety of school children and the negligence of the authorities in addressing such incidents.

This incident brings to light the urgent need for enhanced security measures and strict action against those who threaten the safety of students and teachers. Further developments in this case are awaited.
