In a major milestone for engineering aspirants across the country, the results of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2025 were officially announced on Monday. This year, Rajit Gupta from the IIT Delhi zone has emerged as the All India Topper, scoring an outstanding 332 out of 360 marks in one of India’s most competitive entrance exams.

The examination, which serves as the gateway to the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), was held on May 18 across 712 centers in 230 cities nationwide. A total of 1,80,422 students appeared in both Paper 1 and Paper 2, out of which 54,378 candidates have successfully qualified. Among these, 9,404 are female candidates, reflecting a steadily growing participation of women in India’s top technical exam.
Rajit Gupta secured the top position in the Common Rank List (CRL), showcasing academic brilliance and strong conceptual understanding. His remarkable performance places him at the pinnacle of success in the IIT Delhi zone.
On the other hand, Devdutta Majhi from the IIT Kharagpur zone has claimed the title of the highest-ranking female candidate. She secured the 16th rank in the CRL with an impressive score of 312 out of 360, setting a strong example for aspiring women engineers across the nation.
This year’s JEE Advanced was conducted by IIT Kanpur, known for its rigorous academic standards. The exam tested students not only on their knowledge but also on their problem-solving ability and time management—skills essential for success in the IITs.
With the declaration of results, qualified candidates will now move towards the next phase of admissions through JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority), which coordinates the seat allocation process across IITs, NITs, and other centrally funded technical institutions.
As celebrations erupt among toppers and successful candidates, the spotlight remains on perseverance, determination, and hard work—the true driving forces behind cracking one of the toughest exams in the country.
