Chandigarh, June 27, 2025: In a decisive move against corruption and drug trafficking inside prisons, the Punjab government suspended 25 jail officials on Thursday. Among those suspended are three Deputy Superintendents and two Assistant Superintendents, reflecting the government’s zero-tolerance policy towards misconduct in the prison system.
