Later in the day, Prime Minister Modi and Chancellor Merz are scheduled to hold bilateral talks in Ahmedabad. These discussions are expected to focus on strengthening India–Germany ties across key areas such as trade, innovation, climate action, and strategic cooperation. Merz’s visit is being seen as an important step in deepening the partnership between the two countries.
