Many of these victims have faced severe backlash online, with public figures enduring harassment and abuse.

Public protests have erupted all over Pakistan with demands for stringent action against the cybercriminals who leaked the film. Critics believe that the government has not made adequate efforts to curb these cybercrimes effectively.
