Nuh, Haryana – July 13, 2025: In a proactive move to maintain law and order, the Haryana government has ordered the suspension of mobile internet services in Nuh district for 24 hours, starting from 9:00 PM on Saturday, July 13, to 9:00 PM on Sunday, July 14. The decision comes ahead of the Braj Mandal Jalabhishek Yatra, scheduled for Monday, which is expected to draw a large number of devotees.

The Haryana Department of Home Affairs issued the order late Saturday evening, stating that the step was taken to prevent the spread of misinformation, rumours, or any untoward incident that may disrupt peace during the religious procession.
Mobile Internet Shutdown to Prevent Unrest
The order specifically mentions that mobile internet services, bulk SMS, and all dongle services provided on mobile networks will be temporarily blocked. However, broadband and landline internet services will remain operational.
This suspension aims to ensure that social media platforms or messaging services are not misused to incite unrest or communal tensions during the yatra.
Schools to Remain Shut in Nuh on July 1
Alongside the internet ban, the district administration has also declared a holiday in all government and private schools across Nuh on Monday, July 14. This preventive measure has been taken to ensure the safety of students, staff, and transport services during the religious gathering.
Heavy Security Deployment Along the Yatra Route
With the Braj Mandal Jalabhishek Yatra drawing closer, security arrangements have been significantly intensified. According to official sources:
- 14 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) have been deployed in the region.
- 28 security checkpoints have been set up along the yatra route.
- Over 2,500 police personnel will be on duty throughout the duration of the event.
The police have also coordinated with intelligence agencies and paramilitary forces to ensure that the procession passes off peacefully without any disruption.
A Delicate but Devotional Occasion
The Braj Mandal Jalabhishek Yatra holds immense religious importance for devotees in Haryana and nearby regions. However, in light of recent sensitivities and precautionary advisories from security agencies, the state has chosen a cautious approach.
Senior officials have urged residents to cooperate with authorities, avoid spreading misinformation, and report any suspicious activities to the nearest police station.
Final Advisory for Citizens
Authorities have requested the public to:
- Stay informed through official channels only.
- Avoid unnecessary travel in and around Nuh district on Monday.
- Respect the internet suspension order and maintain peace and harmony.
