Patna: Minor girl died due to bleeding during intercourse, Two Men Detained

PATNA, BIHAR — A shocking and tragic incident has emerged from Patna, where a minor girl from Jehanabad died following a sexual encounter, leaving her family and local community in grief. Police have taken a young man, identified as her alleged boyfriend, and his friend into custody as they investigate the circumstances surrounding her sudden death.

The distressing event unfolded in the Jakkanpur police station area, where the 16-year-old girl was reportedly with her male acquaintance. According to police sources, the two had met just ten days earlier in the Masaurhi area. The boy, whose name has not been released, invited her to his friend’s room where the incident occurred.

During the physical, the girl began to experience severe bleeding, causing her condition to deteriorate rapidly. She was immediately rushed to a local hospital for medical attention, but her life could not be saved. The young girl was pronounced dead shortly after her arrival.

Patna police were alerted to the situation on Saturday and acted swiftly. They have since detained both the alleged boyfriend and his friend for questioning. The girl’s body has been sent for a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death, a crucial step in the ongoing investigation.

Speaking to reporters, the girl’s grandfather shared heartbreaking details. He mentioned that she had only studied up to the fifth grade before leaving school. Her father works as a carpenter, and the family is still reeling from the shock. The grandfather explained that his granddaughter had left home saying she was going to Jehanabad, but the family had no idea how she ended up in Patna. He only learned of her death after receiving a call and rushing to the city.

In a statement, Jakkanpur’s Station House Officer, Manish Kumar, confirmed the police action. “We have detained both the young men and are currently questioning them,” he stated. He added that an official case would be registered once the full statement of the family is recorded.
