Kateel Temple: Bollywood actress and politician Kangana Ranaut is now on a spiritual tour in Karnataka, where she has been to many of the sacred temples. While on the visit, she participated in the opening ceremony of the Kapu Mariyamma Temple with BJP National General Secretary (Organization) BL Santhosh.

Kangana’s Temple Visits

Kangana visited the Shri Durgaparameshwari Temple in Kateel first, and then the Shri Hale Mariamma Temple in Kapu. Posting about her experiences on Instagram, she mentioned, “Aaj Kateel mein Devi Durga Parmeshwari ji ki darshan kiye aur pichle kal Kapu mein Maa Mariyamma ke pawan darshan hue (Today, I visited Kateel’s Devi Durga Parmeshwari Temple and yesterday, I had the sacred darshan of Maa Mariyamma in Kapu).”

The politician-actor was spotted in the cultural sarees, doing pooja, meditating on the temple grounds, and participating in rituals. She had tight security with her during her spiritual pilgrimage. She also stopped at the Kapu Shri Hosa Marigudi Temple.

Visiting Kapu Mariyamma Temple Opening

Kangana attended the Brahmakalashotsava festival at Kapu Shri Hosa Marigudi Temple, where Lok Sabha MP Brijesh Chowta was also present. Posting glimpses from the event, she mentioned her privilege in attending the opening ceremony of the Kapu Mariyamma temple with BJP leader BL Santhosh.

Subsequently, MP Brijesh Chowta posted a video of Kangana’s trip to the Kateel Temple, where she had taken blessings from Goddess Durga Parameshwari. The video showed Kangana walking barefoot within the temple, standing in line for darshan, and having a meal after worship.

Kangana’s Upcoming Projects

On the professional front, Kangana recently appeared in Emergency, which hit theatres in January this year. She is set to work on a forthcoming untitled film with her Tanu Weds Manu co-star R. Madhavan.

Kangana’s trip to Karnataka underscores her strong spiritual convictions and cultural interest, showcasing her affinity for India’s religious legacy.
