Kamala Harris will make a special appearance on the season nine finale of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars,” advocating for voting.

The episode, set to air this Friday on Paramount+, will feature a message from the vice president.

“Each day, our rights and freedoms are under threat, including the right for everyone to be themselves, love whom they choose, and do so openly and with pride,” Kamala Harris stated. “As we stand up against these challenges, remember that no one is alone. We are all in this together, and your vote is your power. Please ensure your voice is heard this November and register to vote.”

A few weeks before Harris officially announced her presidential candidacy, she appeared alongside Judge Michelle Visage, Emmy-nominated choreographer Jamal Sims, Lance Bass, Leslie Jones, and Cheyenne Jackson to advocate for voter registration.

Kamala Harris has consistently championed human and civil rights, including marriage equality. Last month, she hosted a Pride month reception in collaboration with the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. The event featured “Drag Race” season 16 winner Nymhpia Wind, “All Stars” queens Vanessa Vanjie Mateo and Plastique Tiara, and Billy Porter. On Wednesday, the Human Rights Campaign endorsed Harris for the White House, highlighting her strong support for the Equality Act, which aims to provide comprehensive non-discrimination protections for the LGBTQ+ community, and the Respect for Marriage Act, which guarantees federal marriage protections.

Politicians have made notable appearances on the show before. In 2020, Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez joined the judges’ panel, and in 2022, Speaker Nancy Pelosi appeared on “All Stars” season 7, urging Americans to vote.

“Drag Race” has consistently supported voting rights. Every week, the queens and host RuPaul conclude the show by reminding viewers to register to vote.

Part two of the grand finale promises a “Variety Extravaganza,” featuring the return of all eight queens. The winner will receive $200,000 to donate to their chosen charity, and three Benefactress badges will also be awarded. Additionally, a new voting twist could alter the outcome dramatically.

Last week, RuPaul reminded the queens that the three queens with the most badges would compete for the crown. However, he emphasized that any queen could still claim the crown and secure a place in the Drag Race Hall of Fame. As of the end of the first part of the grand finale, Roxxxy Andrews led with five Benefactress badges, while Jorgeous and Plastique Tiara were tied with four each. Jorgeous held a slight advantage due to a lip-sync tie and a maxi challenge win.
