Sofik, who appeared visibly shaken in his apology video earlier, seems to be attempting a gradual return to normal content. On Wednesday, he posted a new dance reel on Instagram — his first piece of regular content since the controversy erupted.

Sofik Claims Close Friend Leaked His Private Video
In his earlier apology, Sofik directly addressed how the video surfaced online. He explained that the clip was recorded over a year ago, and he had never expected it to reach the public.
According to him, a close friend — someone he trusted like family — had access to both his and his girlfriend’s phones at the time. Sofik alleges this friend copied the private video and later began blackmailing them with it. The situation worsened when Sofik distanced himself from the individual.

He said the friend responded by uploading the clip online as an act of revenge.
“I never imagined someone I treated like a brother would do this,” he said in Bengali, adding that the betrayal broke him emotionally.
Influencer Shares ‘Proof’ to Support His Claims
To strengthen his explanation, Sofik shared screenshots, voice notes, and a short video of the person he accused. He firmly rejected claims that the MMS leak was a planned publicity stunt. With folded hands, he appealed to viewers to stop circulating the clip and respect his and his girlfriend’s privacy.
