As part of the newly formed agreement, JioStar will take the digital reins, providing exclusive live streaming of all matches on JioHotstar. This includes every game across formats—Tests, One Day Internationals (ODIs), and Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). Fans who prefer watching on the go or from their mobile devices will now be able to catch every moment of India’s cricket action in England right on their screens through JioHotstar.

Meanwhile, SPNI will retain the linear television rights for the two tours. All matches will be televised on the Sony Sports Network, ensuring that traditional TV viewers also get uninterrupted access to the high-voltage cricket series.

The partnership kicks off with the highly awaited five-match Test series between India and England, set to begin on June 20, 2025. The series will mark the beginning of a two-year broadcasting collaboration that covers India’s full tour cycles in England.

This dual-platform arrangement brings together the strengths of both JioStar’s digital reach and Sony’s established television audience, aiming to offer comprehensive coverage to fans across the nation. The collaboration not only reinforces the growing influence of digital platforms in sports broadcasting but also ensures that cricket remains accessible to diverse viewer preferences—whether online or on television.

For Indian cricket lovers, this announcement promises two thrilling years ahead, packed with fierce rivalries, unforgettable moments, and wall-to-wall coverage of every ball bowled and every run scored in England.
