Home Minister Amit Shah will be spending nearly seven and a half hours in Mahakumbh Nagar today. He will be accompanied by Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath. The Home Minister is expected to reach Bamrauli Airport around 11:30 AM and go to Arail. Then, he will be taken to the VIP ghat through the Nishadraj Cruise.
During his visit, Amit Shah will take a holy dip at the Sangam, perform prayers, and visit Akshayavat and the Bade Hanuman Temple. After that, he will meet all the Shankaracharyas along with saints like Sharananand Ji Maharaj and Govind Giri Maharaj. Lunch with saints is also planned for the Home Minister at the Jagannath Trust Camp. His visit will end in the evening, as he will leave from Bamrauli Airport for Delhi at around 6:50 PM. —
Schools in Varanasi to Hold Online Classes Till February 5
With the increased pilgrim rush to Prayagraj for the Mahakumbh, schools of classes 1 to 12 in Varanasi will shift to online education up to February 5. The order has been issued by the District Inspector of Schools, as the District Magistrate has instructed to relax traffic congestion during the event.
According to the orders, practical examinations will continue as scheduled, and regular classes will remain suspended. The move is aimed at ensuring smoother transportation management amidst the ongoing Mahakumbh festivities.
