Gopal Mandal Viral Mms Triggers Backlash
The incident was from a Holi Milan party at Gopal Gaushala, Navgachia, Bhagalpur. The video available on social media depicts Mandal zealously performing on stage, dancing to Bhojpuri music, and speaking controversial lines. In his remarks, he commented, “Listen, I take a kiss – today from this one, tomorrow from another. We promote young girls. Make it as viral as you want.”
His remarks have created a heated controversy on social media, with most users denouncing his action as improper for a public representative.
Defense Amidst Criticism
Mandal, who had a reputation for being frank, justified his actions by stating that he was merely motivating the artists. He said, “When good music plays, even a madman smiles. A person who doesn’t love music is like a stone. I am a music lover.”
About the video wherein he put a ₹500 bill on a dancer’s cheek, he explained, “I did it to enjoy the artist’s performance. I kissed the child to inspire her and urged her to be a great artist like Chaila Bihari.”
RJD Responses
The video has elicited a storm of responses on social media, where many have raised questions about the propriety of his behavior. Opposition politicians and critics have joined in, declaring his actions as “disrespectful” and “unbefitting of a legislator.”
This is not the first time that Gopal Mandal has been in the news for his controversial utterances and conduct. With the video still gathering steam, it can only be speculated whether his party, JDU, will do anything to him or if the controversy will just blow over in the coming days.
