Fire Breaks Out Again in the Area of Prayagraj Maha Kumbh Mela Sector 2

A fire broke out on Saturday morning in the area of Prayagraj Maha Kumbh Mela, spreading panic among the attendees. However, the situation was brought under control by the fire brigade in no time, thereby preventing any major damage or casualties.

Reports say the fire broke out near Sector 2 on the main road leading to the mela area. Sudden fire has erupted in an Ertiga and a Venue car parked. The traffic on the route was suspended for safety measures.

The fire brigade arrived on time and put out the flames. The Ertiga was completely burnt down, but the Venue suffered partial damage. There were no casualties or deaths in the accident.

The fire broke out on Ekadashi, when a huge crowd had congregated at the Kumbh Mela. Authorities responded quickly to the situation and ensured that no disruption was caused to the religious activities. Considering the previous incidents of fire, the Kumbh administration had already taken strict safety measures in place, such as emergency response points all over the mela grounds.

Speaking about the incident, Fire Officer Vishal Yadav said, “Devotees from distant regions have parked their vehicles here. Due to excessive heat, the fire broke out. Our fire brigade teams reached the site immediately and controlled the situation. Thankfully, there were no casualties, and all are safe.”

The incident serves as a reminder of the challenges in managing large-scale events like the Maha Kumbh Mela. However, the quick response by the administration highlights their preparedness and commitment to ensuring the safety of all attendees.
