Ranveer Singh’s much-awaited action-spy spectacle Dhurandhar has set the box office on fire, storming past the ₹100-crore mark within just three days of its theatrical release. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the 3.5-hour spy thriller arrived in cinemas on December 5, 2025, and has been unstoppable since its first show.

Dhurandhar Box Office Collection Day 3

A Powerful Opening Fueled by Buzz and Star Power

The film opened at a solid ₹28 crore on Day 1, riding on enormous pre-release hype, high-octane trailers, and strong endorsement from celebrities including Deepika Padukone and Yami Gautam. Positive word-of-mouth accelerated the film’s performance on Saturday, with Dhurandhar collecting ₹32 crore on Day 2.

However, it was Sunday (Day 3) that delivered the biggest boost. According to early estimates by Sacnilk, the film scored ₹43 crore on Day 3, its highest single-day performance so far. With this, the three-day total surged to ₹103 crore, making it one of the fastest ₹100-crore earners of 2025.

Ranveer Singh Surpasses His Own Record

With its Day 3 achievement, Dhurandhar has beaten Ranveer Singh’s earlier blockbuster Simmba, which earned ₹31.06 crore on its third day. The milestone also marks one of the actor’s strongest single-day earnings in his career.

Longest Bollywood Film in 17 Years — Yet a Massive Hit

Certified A by the CBFC and running for over 3.5 hours, Dhurandhar is Bollywood’s longest film in nearly two decades. Despite its length, the movie continues to draw packed houses across metros and tier-two cities.

The makers had earlier clarified concerns raised by a few military families, confirming that the story is fictional but inspired by old covert Indian Army operations.

Story Set in Pakistan; Inspired by Real Missions

Set against the backdrop of Pakistan’s volatile Lyari region, Dhurandhar follows an Indian spy who infiltrates criminal networks and terrorist corridors. Aditya Dhar’s storytelling blends geo-political tension, raw action, and emotional depth.

The ensemble cast features Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna, and Sara Arjun, with veteran actor Rakesh Bedi adding further weight to the narrative.

Sequel Confirmed: Dhurandhar 2 Arrives in 2026

The film’s roaring performance has already paved the way for a sequel. Dhurandhar 2 is set to release on March 19, 2026, and will reportedly focus on an intense revenge arc. The sequel is also headed for a major box-office clash with Yash’s Toxic and Ajay Devgn’s Dhamaal 4 — a three-way showdown expected to dominate 2026’s release calendar.

With its thunderous weekend opening and strong audience reception, Dhurandhar has emerged as one of Ranveer Singh’s most powerful releases to date. The film’s blend of patriotic drama, action-packed sequences, and gripping performances positions it firmly among 2025’s biggest blockbusters. All eyes are now on Week 1 numbers as Dhurandhar continues its roaring run at the box office.
