Delhi Police Takes Swift Action Against Institution Director Chinmayanad Saraswati

In a shocking revelation, the Delhi Police has registered a case against the director of a prominent institution in the national capital for allegedly molesting around 15 female students. The accused, identified as Chinmayanad Saraswati, also known as Parthasarthi, has been traced to Agra and authorities are set to make an arrest shortly.

Case Details and Initial Investigation

According to police sources, more than 15 students came forward with complaints against the accused. A formal complaint has been registered at Vasant Kunj North Police Station based on the statements of the victims.

Delhi Police officials have confirmed that during the investigation, a luxury red Volvo car owned by the accused was recovered. Shockingly, the vehicle bore a fake United Nations number plate (39 UN 1). Verification revealed that no such number plate had ever been issued officially. The car has been impounded, and efforts to trace the accused have intensified.

Legal Proceedings and Institutional Action

The statements of the students were recorded before a magistrate under Section 183 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS). Authorities confirmed that the accused had initially applied for anticipatory bail but later withdrew the application.

In response to the allegations, the management of the institution has removed the director from his position and assured full cooperation with the police investigation. DCP (South West) Amit Goel told ANI, “The accused has been traced near Agra and he will be arrested soon.”

Police Investigation: A Closer Look

The police have launched an extensive probe into the matter, ensuring that every lead is followed. The recovery of the fake number plate highlights the accused’s attempts to evade law enforcement. Delhi Police is working diligently to bring justice for the victims and ensure accountability.

Separate Police Success: Blind Hit-and-Run Case Solved

In another notable operation, the Delhi Police successfully solved a blind hit-and-run case in the South West district within eight days. On September 15, a PCR call reported an incident at the Munirka flyover, where Mayank Jain was allegedly hit deliberately by another vehicle.

Through meticulous investigation involving more than 200 CCTV cameras, call record analysis, and route mapping, the accused, Gaurav Bhardwaj of Greater Kailash Enclave-I, was identified and apprehended. During interrogation, Bhardwaj confessed to the crime, and the offending vehicle was recovered. Police confirmed that the car’s damaged front glass had been replaced the following day, which was also recovered.
