Deepti Chaurasia Death Case: A fresh controversy has emerged in Delhi after the sudden and mysterious death of Deepti Chaurasia, the daughter-in-law of Kamla Pasand company owner Kamal Kishore. Deepti’s family has accused her husband and mother-in-law of years of physical torture, harassment, and marital cruelty, alleging that these circumstances may have pushed her toward a tragic end.
Speaking with the media, Deepti’s brother Rishabh shared a deeply emotional account of what he described as a decade-long struggle his sister endured inside her marital home.
“She Was Beaten, Harassed, and Mentally Tortured,” Says Brother
Rishabh claimed that Deepti’s husband, Harpreet, frequently assaulted her and maintained multiple extramarital relationships.
According to him, Deepti often called home describing her distress:
“Her mother-in-law and husband used to beat her. Her husband had affairs. Whenever she told us, we brought her back home. But later her mother-in-law took her away again.”
He added that despite the family’s repeated efforts to protect her, Deepti continued to face abuse.
A Marriage Filled With Conflict Since 2010
Deepti married into the family in 2010, but her brother alleges that the relationship was troubled from the beginning.
He stated:
“His relations with her were not good. He used to physically assault her and abuse her.”
Rishabh also mentioned that he had spoken to Deepti just two to three days before her death, and she had once again expressed fear and emotional distress.
Family Unsure if It’s Suicide or Murder
The circumstances surrounding Deepti’s death remain unclear.
Her brother admitted:
“I don’t know whether my sister was killed or died by suicide. I just want justice.”
The family has demanded a thorough investigation, stating that Deepti had repeatedly shared her pain and fear over what she called ongoing torture and harassment.
Police Awaiting Post-Mortem Report
Authorities are currently awaiting the post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death.
Further legal action is expected once the medical findings are released.
