Barack Obama Voices Concerns About Joe Biden’s Re-Election Campaign: ‘Needs Serious Consideration

Barack Obama has voiced concern about Joe Biden’s re-election campaign in the US Presidential election, suggesting that Biden ‘needs to seriously reassess his viability.

Former President Barack Obama has expressed concerns over Joe Biden’s purported declining health, urging the US President to carefully consider his re-election bid ahead of the upcoming Presidential elections. Obama, who has previously endorsed Biden as the Democratic candidate, reportedly informed allies that Biden’s path to victory has significantly narrowed, as reported by The Washington Post.

Obama’s apprehensions surfaced shortly after former US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi advised Biden that he may not be able to defeat Republican candidate Donald Trump if he continues to pursue the US Presidential election scheduled for November. Pelosi expressed concerns that Biden’s candidacy could jeopardize Democrats’ chances of securing a second term in the House.

President Biden, however, reassured Pelosi that polling data indicates he remains competitive and can win the election.

Following Joe Biden’s contentious debate with Donald Trump on June 27, during which he appeared to struggle, numerous analysts have allegedly voiced worries about the US President’s prospects for re-election, citing concerns about his health.

Just last week, Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi reportedly held private discussions, expressing apprehensions about Joe Biden’s presidential campaign and declining popularity.

Despite calls from within his party for the 81-year-old to step aside, Biden has refused, asserting his belief that he remains the Democrats’ strongest candidate to defeat Trump. He has garnered significant support from Black and Latino elected officials.

Some also speculate that the recent assassination attempt on Donald Trump may have bolstered the Republican candidate’s electoral prospects.

The President and his campaign halted their criticisms of Donald Trump after a shooting incident at Saturday’s rally in Pennsylvania. During the incident, the former President sustained a minor injury as a bullet grazed his ear, resulting in one fatality and two injuries. The 20-year-old suspected shooter was also fatally shot by a Secret Service member.
